Dear Graz: Is your softball team looking for women? Softball is one of my favorite pastimes, and drinking coffee at Dooneys is another, I would like to combine the two. Deborah, Toronto Dear Deborah, Pretty well everyone on our ball team is looking for women, but most of us have to be reasonably careful about it. Would we like to have a woman play on our team? Sure, but there might be a problem. The league we play in is an all guy league. We’re willing to buck that rule if you can play as well as the rest of us do. You’ll be comforted to know that when we were looking for players last spring, we made it clear to incoming players that the chance of getting humiliated by the skills of our returning players was relatively low.
