Books will survive

I can carry books in my car, keep them by my toilet, they look nice in a shelf, I can put one in a backpack when I hike. Being hunched over a computer or squinting at a handheld device is not the way I want to read. 
 
As to warehousing, and all that, well, there's going to be an underground room full of fiber optics and computers, or a warehouse full of books.  
 
The technology of recycling paper products is advancing to the point where, hopefully, it is possible to imagine the day where most print material is published on recycled paper and cardboard. And so, long live books!
